The Ridge House
Perched near the high point of the property with long views over pines, a sunken living room, and floor-to-ceiling glass facing sunset.
Oak & Ember is a small-scale, high-touch micro resort just north of the Wisconsin Dells. You’ll arrive through the pines, step into warm light and glass, and feel like the rest of the world got a little quieter.
Each cabin is designed around fire, stone, glass, and wood. Big windows pull the forest in. Thoughtful finishes and chef-ready kitchens keep things cozy and elevated.
Whether it’s a long weekend for two, a family escape, or a small group retreat, our goal is simple: make it easy to slow down, reconnect, and actually exhale.
A tiny resort intentionally capped at three cabins so the forest, stars, and quiet can do their thing.
Perched near the high point of the property with long views over pines, a sunken living room, and floor-to-ceiling glass facing sunset.
A modern Nordic cabin with two wings joined by a glass foyer. Big on natural light, perfect for slow mornings and late-night conversations.
Tucked low near the pond and trees, with an outdoor fire area, cedar hot tub, and cozy bedroom for lingering in.
Oak & Ember sits just north of the Dells on ~40 acres, with a 30-foot elevation change, dense pine stands, mature oaks, and the Wisconsin River about 1,000 feet away.
It’s close enough to tap into everything the Dells offers—restaurants, waterparks, trails—yet far enough to feel like you’ve slipped into your own corner of the woods.
Exact address and directions will be shared with booked guests. For now, think “quiet, pine-filled, and closer to nature than to neon.”
Building timelines and opening dates are subject to permits, construction, and Wisconsin weather— but the plan is 2026.
As we build Oak & Ember, we’re sharing big milestones, behind-the-scenes progress, and opening announcements with our email list first.

I’m Nick. My wife Alyssa and I have three young kids and a long-standing habit of chasing travel and building real estate on the side.
Oak & Ember is our way of merging those two things—designing a place we’d be thrilled to stay in ourselves, and then opening the doors to other couples, families, and small groups.
Think of this project as a long, slow, intentional build: one eye on design, one eye on the land, and a big focus on guest experience.
